The OrienBites Premium Dim Sum selection provides consumers with a choice of three different Dim Sum styles in three separate colourful varieties, with something to suit all tastes. Choose from the authentic Cantonese-style options of Red Siomay filled with shrimp and coloured with red beet, Yellow Hakao filled with shrimp and coloured with turmeric, and Vegetarian Green Gyoza coloured with chive. 1Soy sauce for the retail packages are included.

These examples of traditional Chinese food come in handy bite-sized 12g portions, making them great as starters, side dishes, or just as a quick snack. They’re also pre-cooked, so can be cooked in several different ways in just a few minutes, making them perfect for caterers, restaurants, and any events with large numbers of attendees. They’re also suitable for keeping in chafing dishes for long periods of time, so are great for Asian buffets.

All the ingredients are certified by our Clean Label promise, and we don’t add MSG to any of the products. We also have a smaller pack available for supermarket buyers.

Preparation Details

Cooking Instructions

Steam: Put the frozen dim sum into your steamer. Steam for 6-7 minutes until the core temperature is above 60°C.

Pan Fry: Preheat the oil to 140-150°C in a frying pan. Add the frozen dim sum and spread evenly. Fry until the bottom of the dim sum is slightly charred. While the pan is hot, add 100ml water (caution: oil may splash). Cover the pan and cook until the water has evaporated completely. Gently remove the dim sum and serve immediately.

2 Microwave: Remove the items from the box and place them (still inside the sealed bag) into the microwave. Cook for 3 minutes at 700W. Then leave the product for 2 minutes at ambient temperature without opening the bag before serving.

1 Soy sauce: Place the frozen sauce sachet in a cup of hot water and defrost as the snacks are in cooking.

SHRIMP HAKAO: filling [SHRIMP, carrot, yambean, bamboo shoot, water chestnut, spring onion, ginger, tapioca starch, sugar, salt, SESAME oil, vegetable oil (palm), garlic], pastry [(water, WHEAT starch, corn starch, potato starch, tapioca starch, vegetable oil (palm), rice flour, sugar, salt, natural colour (curcumin), emulsifier (polysorbate 80)].

2. VEGETABLE DUMPLING: Pastry [water, WHEAT starch, corn starch, potato starch, chives, rice flour, vegetable oil (palm), tapioca starch, sugar, salt], filling [cabbage, yambean, carrot, green bean, chives, sugar, vegetable oil (palm), garlic, WHEAT flour, salt, white pepper, chilli, coriander, tapioca starch]

3. SEAFOOD SUIMAI: Filling [yambean, SHRIMP, FISH, carrot, wood ear, water chestnut, tapioca starch, vegetable oil (palm), sugar, garlic, spring onion, salt, coriander, SESAME oil, white pepper, modified corn starch], pastry [water, WHEAT starch, beetroot, corn starch, potato starch, rice flour, vegetable oil (palm), tapioca starch, sugar, salt, natural colours (beet red, caramel)].

4. 1SOY SAUCE: water, sugar, SOY powder, chilli juice, ginger juice, vinegar, garlic juice, vegetable oil (palm), salt, modified corn starch, SESAME oil.

Store at -18°C
For best results, cook from frozen. If defrosted, do not refreeze.
