Oriental Veg Cigar
One of our most popular products, the Oriental Veg Cigar is an innovative, exciting and most importantly, delicious dish that everyone is sure to enjoy. With no animal products, these make an excellent vegetarian, vegan and halal alternative to our Oriental Chicken Cigar.
Each 15g portion is an individual ‘cigar’ shape, unique to OrienBites. This design is perfect for catering to large numbers of people, as they can be stacked on sharing plates, in cups or glasses and enjoyed as finger food. They’re particularly well-suited to businesses like caterers, food trucks, buffet restaurants and more.
Each portion consists of a light pastry coating, encasing the high-quality mixture of traditional Asian vegetables and seasoning, including cabbage, onion, oyster mushroom, garlic, soy sauce and more. They’re great on their own, or when paired with a selection of Asian-style dipping sauces such as sweet chilli, green curry and others.
They can also be quickly and easily prepared either by deep frying, or in the oven for a lower fat and healthier option, with each method taking just a few minutes directly from frozen, so they’ll be ready to serve up in no time.

Preparation Instructions & Basic Ingredients
Deep Fry: Preheat the oil to 170°C. Fry for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
Oven Bake: Preheat the oven to 180°C. Spread the items evenly on a baking tray and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
